Holiday in the Hamptons by Sarah Morgan was provided to me by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
I have been on a Sarah Morgan binge reading spree since I first recieved New York, Actually from Netgalley. From there I have read Sleepless in Manhattan, Sunset in Central Park and then I read this book and Eva’s story. (I’m still working on Eva’s story.)
There’s something about these stories that suck me in. I just love the characters and how they all seem to fall in place with one another. You don’t really have to know what happens before the first book you pick up. I started with book number four in this series! And they are just really good romantic reads. I really like Sarah Morgan’s style and am glad I discovered her.
It took me a little bit longer to read this book because I was reading the eARC on my NGP instead of a Kindle but I was finally able to finish it.
Minor spoilers ahead…
I liked the part where Fliss started pretending to be Harriet just so she wouldn’t have to talk to Seth as herself. That part was a little confusing to figure out at first though but I laughed when I realized what happened. And I liked the part where her true identity was revealed.
This book wasn’t a perfect five for me this time because about 20 percent of the way through after the middle part of the book it did seem to slow down until the last few chapters.
I’d still recommend this book to anybody though especially since it was a cute summer time read. I also love that cover!
