Spring 2018 Anticipated Releases

There’s a few books coming out in this early spring. I am sad to say I haven’t gotten my hands on an ARC for them, but I tried SO hard to get them from Netgalley and a couple of other sites. I tried to do a top ten post, but that ended up being much more difficult since I am still new to this website, so top five it is. (Goodreads and or my internet connection was really slow… but Facebook of course wasn’t slow!)

1.  I Have Lost My Way by Gayle Forman

Ok, anything Gayle Forman writes is automatically a must read for me. I’ve liked her stuff ever since I saw the movie If I Stay in the theaters.  I’ve just been looking forward to it coming out all year and tried diffent ways to get my hands on an early copy of this book.

2. Reflection (A Twisted Tales #4) by Elizabeth Lim

Does anybody else like this series? I am not TOO picky about fairy tale retellings. I liked the Beauty and the Beast story and the Aladdin story and I didn’t think I’d like A Whole New World at all. Plus, Mulan is cool. Does anybody else have that Reflection song stuck in their head whenever they see that title? Here’s a secret confession: I’ve always wanted to be able to sing karaoke to that song. I just haven’t had the chance to do that yet.

3. Love & Luck by Jenna Evans Welch

I remember I read the first book Love & Gelato last year and I liked it… I’ll have to read the first one again before reading the second one. The second one sounds like it’ll be just as cute as the first one! It draws to me since I’ve been to Ireland AND I’m Irish. (Hence my name, Colleen.) Plus, that cover is SO cute. I like that color!

4.  Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody

5. Now a Major Motion Picture by Cori McCarthy

Ohhh, look! Another book that takes place in Ireland!!

Sorry this didn’t end up quite as fancy as I wanted it to be. This is the first blog post I’ve done outside of book reviews. I have a MUCH bigger TBR list on Goodreads.

What books are you excited about that are coming out this year? What has been the best one you have read so far? Did we have any anticipated books in common? Feel free to  drop a comment!

  1. Ooooh, there are some good books are on your list! I keep forgetting about the Reflection book. Mulan is one of my ULTIMATE loves so I’m super excited for it…but also, I wasn’t a fan of one of the books in the series (of course, I only read the one, oops), and I got super confused by the summary. Also, Now a Major Motion Picture had some GREAT Irish content. Totally did such a cool job with it. I didn’t know Love & Luck had it so I’ll be checking it out as well. Wonderful list, Colleen!! ❤

    1. Thanks! You may already read my message on Goodreads, but I finally bought the Mulan book this morning. Was it the Sleeping Beauty one you didn’t like?

I will most likely have to buy Now a Major Motion Picture. I do get a lot of free books from the library or as ARCS, but I seem to be on a buying streak the last two weeks. The Ally Carter books were ALL used prices.

And yes! I’m just super excited for both of those books. And thanks! 😀 Thanks for the comment!
