The Versatile Blogger Award

I was nominated for this blogger award by my friend @Angelica Destler. She’s awesome and nice and was one of my first few friends here. You should go check her blog out! Thank you for the tag!

Seven things about me:

  1. I ship Fremione. Aka Fred and Hermione from Harry Potter. I know it is not a real ship. I also ship Sydney and Adrian from Bloodlines. I also ship Marcus/Katie, Oliver/Katie, George/Luna, Draco/Luna, Neville/Luna and basically any non-canon pairing in Harry Potter. I am a non-canon shipper for the most part except for Sydrian because THEY ARE ACTUALLY CANON. And my fanfiction self doesn’t want to change a thing about their story.
  2. I write Fanfiction. I haven’t written it in awhile. But my fanfiction story about Fremione Two Can Keep a Secret has over 100K hits last I checked. And it has almost 200 reviews. I’m very proud of it since it has 40k+ words. You should read it. I’ve been told I am the Fremione queen. 😀 It is my baby.
  3. I love Harry Potter.
  4. I usually like ebooks better than regular books because they are more convenient. I can download however many I want and not have to worry about taking more than one book with me to work when I go to work. Every once in awhile I do miss the actual paperbacks so I go to either the bookstore or the library to get that physical book desire fixed. Cause sometimes you just have to. PLUS it is super easy to get library ebooks. Free books is AWESOME especially when you are on a budget.
  5. I finally work at a newspaper. I majored in journalism in college and am finally in the right field I went to school for. I am not writing, but I still like my job and am thankful for it every day. I’m trying to convince myself to write actual reviews for the newspaper.
  6. I am a redhead and I have been to Ireland.
  7. I used to sing all the time back in high school. I was in choir, drama (for about a year until I became interested in other activities. I can’t hit high soprano notes anymore even though I used to be second soprano. I love karaoke but I don’t get to do karaoke much.

    Here’s a few people I nominate:

Sophie @Blame Chocolate

Kristin Kraves Books

Beauty and a Book

I also nominate anybody who hasn’t done this and wants to… sorry it has been a few weeks!

  1. I love reading these Versatile Blogger Awards because it’s such a fantastic way to get to know your fellow bloggers! And you’ve been to Ireland?? Lucky! My ancestors were from there, and I really want to visit it sometime soon… it’s such a beautiful country. ☘️

  2. I like reading them too. I haven’t had much of a chance to read very many posts on here this last week. I actually have been in kind of a book slump/ blog slump again and it just makes me want to hit my computer facedown. This year has been such a hard year for books even though most are free. I just have a hard time choosing.

And that’s cool! I liked the trip there, I just didn’t like the airplane ride.

    1. Ah, I know how you feel. I feel a reading slump coming on myself, and my fingers are crossed that it won’t come. 🤞
Haha, I don’t really like riding on airplanes, either, but I bet it’ll be worth it once I get there! 😃

      1. Just try doing what I did; force yourself into reading books anyway. It worked for the most part but now that it is starting to feel like a chore I think rereading is best.

And yes! Maybe try to get a layover. We didn’t have a layover from Dublin to Atlanta on the way back…. we flew back the day after a passenger plane was shot from the sky and I didn’t know my dad was trying to keep it from my stepmom and I panicked and was like…. I’M NOT GETTING ON THAT PLANE TOMORROW!!!

Haha. I obviously did, but I didn’t sleep. I was too jittery to sleep during that 11 hour flight and I was awake for 32 hours. I read that whole flight home. Thank goodness for e-readers. It was dark on the plane since everybody else was sleeping. I was very thankful for the e-reader light then. I know I dozed maybe a couple of times but I’d jerk myself awake quickly.

I slept during the two hour drive home and for 13 hours after we got home. I was glad I didn’t have to work the next day, my work gave me two days off to recover and gave me closing shifts but those were hard. (It was before I worked at the newspaper.)
