P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Warning: small minor spoilers ahead!
P.S. I still love you by Jenny Han is one of those books that I don’t really understand the hype of. It has a cool plot where the girl’s letters got sent to all the guys she ever wrote to before and then she deals with the aftermath of her sister sending those letters.
In book two she is still dealing with the aftermath, and her last letter finally gets received by John. I started liking Peter in the beginning of the book when he stood up for Lara Jean, but after that his character changed and I started rooting for the possibility of John and Lara Jean. I liked John much better.
This book was just ok to me, though I will still read the third book because I’ve been wanting to read it since I saw the cover. Dress covers draw me in. I liked the realistic moments that this book had like the stuff her dad said about heart breaks, and the part about sisters and how realistic her sister and Josh were. I did like Kitty. I guess the romance was just put on the side burner for me this time.
I haven’t decided for sure if I will watch To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before on Netflix when it comes on there. I’ll probably decide after the third book.
Later note: I now need to reread this series because I am a Lara Jean/ Peter shipper now.
What do you think? Is anybody going to watch the movie on Netflix? Which book was your favorite from this trilogy? Feel free to leave a comment!
