Hey, bookworms! It’s that day of the week again where we participate in the wonderful bookish post that was formerly hosted by Should be Reading and was recently taken over by Taking on a World of Words.
To play along just answer three questions to give an update about what you’re currently reading, have read recently, and what you will read next. Feel free to leave your answers in the comments or link your post! (P.S. I am not sure who created the graphic so I credit the person who made it!)
What are you currently reading?
I’m currently reading Truly Devious and rereading P.S. I still love you by Jenny Han.
What have you finished recently?
I have finished rereading To all the boys I’ve loved before… I tried reading Furyborn and that was a DNF and I also DNF My Lady Jane. I think I just wasn’t in the mood for either of those books at all though I tried a couple of times to read them.
What do you think you will read next?
WordPress on my laptop thinks it’s cute to hide photos once I get to a certain point of photos. I can’t see half of them and it will freeze up and I don’t know if it’s my laptop or my WordPress doing it, but I think it is conspiring against me to buy a plan for storage. I don’t have all of the photos here because of that, but I also want to read Heart of Iron, Fawkes, Girl Online, maybe The Mediator and other books.
What do you think? Did we have any books in common? What books are on your list? Feel free to leave a comment below!
Love your list Colleen! Here’s mine:
Reading: Educated by Tara Westover (review up soon :))
Finished: Half Gods by Akil Kumarasamy
Going to Read: TBC depending on mood after reading Educated hhahahha

I just finished TATBILB too and it was surprising great! What do you think about it? Ah I see you’re gonna read it Renegades next, hope you like it!

I liked it better the second time because of the movie! And thanks, it’ll be either this weekend or when I am on vacation. It seems like a vacation type of book because of how long it is.

Yeah Renegades is pretty intimidating! Hope you enjoy it!

I’m really curious about Fawkes, so I hope that’s a good one whenever you get to it. I hear amazing things about Starry Eyes. I’m currently reading Dear Evan Hansen: The Novel and really loving it. I’d love to see the musical some day!

That’s cool, I am really glad you are loving the book you are reading! And I’ve heard a lot about Starry Eyes also. Mixed stuff about Fawkes. The cover is pretty though!

I really want to read Truly Devious! I haven’t read Furyborn or My Lady Jane. Although, they are on my TBR. I did read My Plain Jane and I liked it.

Did you feel lost when you were reading My Plain Jane?

Nope, I didn’t feel lost with that one. Where did you feel lost?

I didn’t feel lost at all, I just couldn’t get into the first one at all. I couldn’t get on board with one thing that will probably be a spoiler for you so I can’t say it here, but it was just a it’s just me and what I like and don’t like thing.

Oh gotcha. From my understanding, they are not books that are in any type of order. They are kind of their own book. Yeah, thanks for no spoilers! 😁

No problem! My misgiving with it is pretty much a huge spoiler.

Everless was a good one for me but An Ember in the Ashes is even better!

Everless seems like a Beauty and the Beast type of book except with that whole time plot. That was my first impression when I read the first chapter at one point.
