September 2018 wrap up post

Invisible Ghosts by Robyn SchneiderThe One by Kiera CassRoar by Cora CarmackOne Tuesday Morning by Karen KingsburyThe Geography of Lost Things by Jessica Brody
This month actually started off really well despite the fact that I did not finish a few books in August. I only had one DNF book which was The Cheerleaders by Kara Thomas, but Roar was almost a DNF.
Starry Eyes was a five star rating. I liked this book because it was about astronomy and it had a good camping story.
The Geography of Lost Things by Jessica Brody was also another five star read, but that review won’t be coming until this Friday.
The rereads were The One by Kiera Cass and One Tuesday Morning by Karen Kingsbury.
Invisible Ghosts and Perfect Harmony were four star ratings.
Hocus Pocus followed closely behind with a 3.5 rating but I still recommend that for anybody that wants to read a Hocus Pocus story.  It’s worth reading at least once.
Isla and the Happily ever after was a two star rating because I liked the other two books and didn’t want to give it a one because that seemed too harsh and there was a nice little reunion at the end.
Here’s my mini reviews for Hocus Pocus, Invisible Ghosts, The Cheerleaders and Roar. I forgot about Lola and the Boy Next Door but it did have a high rating.

September TBR post update

Here’s how I did with my TBR post!

Rereads: I want to reread The Mediator series and other Meg Cabot books in September or October. I also want to reread The Wicked Deep probably late September.

Kindle books: Seafire, Sea Witch, Size 12 is not fat by Meg Cabot, Royal Crown by Meg Cabot, Warcross, the Hocus Pocus Sequel, Isla and the Happily Ever After, My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick, The Kissing Booth, An Ember in the Ashes, Everless and I also want to try Ace of Shades. The Hazelwood might work this month too. I also have various romance books to read too by Jennifer Shirk and other authors.

Regular books: Isla and the Happily Ever After, Heart of Iron, Renegades.

Library ebooks I need to read: The Cheerleaders, Invisible Ghosts, The Unexpected Everything, Roar (young adult), Things I can’t Forget by Miranda Kenneally, The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue, There’s Someone Inside Your House, and Girl Online.

Netgalley/ARC reads: I’m trying not to go overboard with advanced reader copies, but I do have two to read. One is called Chasing Love and the other is Perfect Harmony.

Returned: There’s someone inside your house, The Unexpected Everything and Girl Online back to the library.

And that’s a wrap! How was your September as far as books? What spooky reads are you looking forward to this month? Feel free to leave a comment!
