September 2019 wrap up & October TBR

Hey guys! I decided to try to do another wrap up post as well as trying to plan a TBR again.

Five star ratings

My Wildest Dream was the only ARC I read this month. I got it directly from the publishers and it was good!

My Wildest Dream (Whisper Lake #2)

Well Met by Jen Deluca was a library ebook, and now I really, really, really want to own this book some day.

Well Met

The Blood Spell by C. J. Redwine was an ebook I owned and it made my heart soooooooo content with the perfect enemies to lovers trope in a Cinderella fantasy fairy tale realm. This is my favorite book by C.J. Redwine so far.

The Blood Spell (Ravenspire #4)

Four star ratings

Sea Witch by Sarah Henning... I liked this book, but not as much as the first one. It was still really good though and it was the first book I read in September. I believe this was a library ebook.

Sea Witch Rising (Sea Witch, #2)

The First Kiss Hypothesis was another library ebook. I liked this one, though not as much as the third book. I read this trilogy out of order. They can be read as a standalone though. I remember I had a hard time getting into it at first.

The First Kiss Hypothesis (The First Kiss Hypothesis, #1)

Off the Ice by Julie Cross was an ebook I own. I had a hard time getting into this book too, but I ended up enjoying it and I liked the character development in it. I wanted to read Jake’s story again, but this was another trilogy I read out of order. The out of order wasn’t what docked the point though, they can be read as standalones.

Our Stop was an ebook I owned. It had a cute story line and good characters… I did get tired of all the catfishing though and it was a little too much instant love, but the friendships along the way kept it at a four  star read. Plus the whole newspaper ad thing was kind of unique.

Our Stop

Three Star Ratings

Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour was another library ebook. Can you tell I love library ebooks? 😀 It was a three star rating. A three star does not mean it was bad. It was good, but it had potential to be even better. Some things made me shake my head though. It was a cute road trip book!

My rereads are not bad reads either. I just read some books every year and they remain high on my list. I read a 9/11 series every year before 9/11 in honor of that day. I actually stuck to my September TBR because of these books.

October TBR

I might be rereading The Wicked Deep again and Hocus Pocus again for my rereads this month, but I’m not sure yet. I do need to read Frankly in Love since it is a library ebook.

Frankly in Love (Frankly in Love, #1)Fix Her Up (Hot & Hammered, #1)The Right Swipe (Modern Love, #1)

What did your September reads look like? How many books did you read this month? What was the best one?
