What’s Your Sign? (Cupids #2) by Lila Monroe (Goodreads Author)
And it’s written in the stars.
Turns out, Justin is a major fan of the Gazette’s astrology column. And since our resident mystic has gone AWOL, guess who’s left secretly writing the forecasts? Me!
Soon, I’m using his star sign to nudge him in the right direction – and away from the pink slips. But as Justin and I grow closer, the chemistry between us is sizzling… and my little white lie turns into a galaxy-sized problem. I’m seeing stars – and not just when he kisses me.
Can I find a way out of this celestial mix-up? Or will my forecast spell heartbreak for the both of us? Find out in the new romance from Lila Monroe!
My review:
I initially put this book down at first because it was too much like my work setting and I was on break at lunch. I didn’t want to read about work while on break! I was able to forget about that about a week or two later and I am glad I did because What’s Your Sign? By Lila Monroe was a really sweet read.
I really liked the main love interests, Justin and Natalie. I liked how Natalie was able to think quick on her feet and how she stood up for Justin a few times in the book. I thought their relationship was really sweet too. They were a believable couple.
There were a couple of spots where the dialogue was repeated in some certain scenes, but overall it was still a good book, I really enjoyed reading it. Some of my favorite parts of the book were when Natalie accidently sent that email to her boss and that made me laugh out loud at her embarrassment. Then the other scene was when she stood up to Justin’s dad and didn’t think twice about it. Sorry, those are slight spoilers but not saying what happened really or how.
What’s Your Sign? By Lila Monroe is a four star rating. I’m glad I purchased this book and now can’t wait to read book number three which comes out in January! More please? 😀
Oh, and it is worth noting that I went into this series without reading the first book so I think they can be read out of order just fine. I seem to have a habit of reading books out of order.
