Mini eARC review: Up Close and Personal by Kathryn Freeman

Up Close and Personal

Sizzling chemistry, a page-turning will they/won’t they romance and the hottest twist on one of your favourite movies…

British actor Zac Edwards is the latest heartthrob to hit the red carpets. Hot, talented and rich, he sends women wild…all except one.

Close protection officer Kat Parker hasn’t got time to play celebrity games. She has one job: to protect Zac from the stalker that seems to be dogging his every move.

Zac might get her hot under her very starched collar, but Kat’s a professional – and sleeping with Zac is no way part of her remit…

My review:

I really liked the plot of the story. I thought it was unique how there was a girl body guard and she didn’t let anybody tell her she wasn’t good enough just because she was a girl, etc.  I liked the idea of the forbidden romance going on, and how Kat’s niece had a good head on her shoulders about one of the plots that happened later on in the book. Don’t want to say what because that would be a spoiler.

Up Close and Personal started off strong once I managed to forget the fact that it was a PDF book originally, but it did seem to get slower later on in the book and I wasn’t as into it as I originally was.

This was a three star rating which means I still liked it. A three star rating isn’t bad.

Thank you Netgalley and publishers for allowing me the chance to read this book. My thoughts and opinions are my own.

Sorry for the delay on this review, had a busier week than usual. Sorry for the different settings on the title of the book, but once again WordPress likes being difficult for me. Sorry. I tried fixing it.
