The stuck at home book tag

Book Blitz_ (2)It’s book tag time! I haven’t done one of these in forever. I found this particular tag on Book Princess Reviews and another blog. The original post is here at Ellyn’s page. Not sure who created the banner above, but whoever did gets the credit for that, not me!

What are you currently reading?

Say You Still Love Me

Say you still love me expires from the library in a few days so I thought I would try to hurry and read it.

What’s your favourite “can’t leave the house” activity?

My favorite can’t leave the house activity is always reading. I also like watching stuff on Netflix, Vudu, Frndly TV app which has the Hallmark channels.  I ride my indoor bike. I cook meals in my instant pot, though not as often as I should.

A book you’ve been meaning to read forever.

An Ember in the Ashes (An Ember in the Ashes, #1)

An Ember in the Ashes. I feel like this has been the most talked about book in the blogging community since I joined WordPress. A few authors have even had their characters read this book, and I’m just like….. I feel like everybody is telling me something. But this book keeps getting shuffled to the back further and further.

An intimidating book on your TBR.

Renegades (Renegades, #1)

I don’t know why Renegades looks intimidating to me. I have the physical book and even got the ebook because I thought that would help make it less intimidating at the time. I can make it through Order of the Phoenix each year and the longer Harry Potter books, but still not this one yet.

Top 3 priority books on your TBR.

I don’t really have anything I MUST absolutely read right now since my ARC’s aren’t due for another couple of months. I suppose I should plan those ahead, but I want to read for enjoyment for a bit. I got these three books today! Though I got more than just three since I had a gift card.

Paris Is Always a Good IdeaIsland Affair (Keys to Love, #1)10 Things I Hate About Pinky (Dimple and Rishi, #3)

Recommend a short book.

Shadowland (The Mediator, #1)

It has been awhile since I’ve read a short one. Can’t think of another one, but Meg Cabot’s young adult books are short. I love The Mediator books!

Recommend a long book.

I actually don’t read many long books aside from Harry Potter because they intimidate me. But if you haven’t read those books yet, feel free! It’s ok to still be a Harry Potter fan and not agree with all of the author’s opinions. And it’s ok to reread also!

Something you’d love to do while stuck at home.

I want to read all my books I want to read and watch all the Hallmark movies I have recorded through the Frndly TV app.

What do you plan on reading next?

I already kind of answered this answer with the TBR question, but guess still gotta try to plan out more books! OK, I recently got The Tourist Attraction from the library and I’m looking forward to reading this book! As well as other books I bought today. There’s just so many to choose from. The Tourist Attraction (Moose Springs, Alaska #1)

I tag whoever wants to do this post. I’m sure a lot of people have already done it. Thanks for reading!
