September 2018 TBR post

All right,  I am attempting to make a TBR list for this month. We all know I am a mood reader and if I DNF something that puts me in a bad reading mood slump. So MAYBE if I have a list to keep up, this will stop that from happening!

Here’s the 6 that I have on my WordPress already. I am going on vacation next week, so Renegades might be a good book for me to read then, but I am intimidated because of how big it is and also I’m not always into the whole super hero/villains plot. I have to be in the mood for it. I just finished Lola and the Boy Next Door so Isla and the Happily Ever After might be another cute read along with Unexpected Everything. I hope The Unexpected Everything will be better than Stay Sweet.

Rereads: I want to reread The Mediator series and other Meg Cabot books in September or October. I also want to reread The Wicked Deep probably late September.

Kindle books: Seafire, Sea Witch, Size 12 is not fat by Meg Cabot, Royal Crown by Meg Cabot, Warcross, the Hocus Pocus Sequel, Isla and the Happily Ever After, My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick, The Kissing Booth, An Ember in the Ashes, Everless and I also want to try Ace of Shades. The Hazelwood might work this month too. I also have various romance books to read too by Jennifer Shirk and other authors.

Regular books: Isla and the Happily Ever After, Heart of Iron, Renegades.

Library ebooks I need to read: The Cheerleaders, Invisible Ghosts, The Unexpected Everything, Roar (young adult), Things I can’t Forget by Miranda Kenneally, The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue, There’s Someone Inside Your House, and Girl Online.

Netgalley/ARC reads: I’m trying not to go overboard with advanced reader copies, but I do have two to read. One is called Chasing Love and the other is Perfect Harmony.

What does your September TBR list look like? Do we have any in common? I’m the crazy lady who likes both ebooks and hardbacks so I try to buy one on sale and check out the other from the library. 😉

Note: I most likely won’t be posting much next week because I will be on vacation.

  1. Seven days in and my September TBR has already changed a few times. I was granted a few NetGalley books that have publication dates that are coming up quickly, which has thrown a wrench into my TBR list. The book I am most looking forward to reading this month is Cross Her Heart. As soon as my book of the month package comes, that will be the top of the pile 🙂 Happy reading and have a great vacation

  2. ereads: Ender’s Game, I am Legend, Til We Have Faces, and a number of indie pub titles (Echo, Mimi of the Nowhere, The Dragon Songs Saga, to name a few!) I have so many kindle books it’s killing me.

Currently re-reading The Chronicles of Narnia with my daughter; I got this gorgeous paperback collection with original (I think?) illustrations. We’re both loving it!

My physical books are mostly theological/devotional in nature; I’m reading a lot of women authors here though which is refreshing.

  3. Your TBR looks great! I just picked up The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue, too, but I’m not sure I’ll get to it this month. I have sooo many books to get to. xD That’s why I haven’t read An Ember in the Ashes yet, even though I keep saying I’m going to. But this month (actually, next week, probably), I intend to read A Thousand Perfect Notes by C.G. Drews, and I’m super looking forward to that.
